In support Canada's Action Plan on Combatting Hate and working in collaboration with subject matter experts from police services, government departments, community organizations, academic institutions, eternal partners, and the Hate Crime Task Force, the Canadian Police College (CPC) offers advanced and specialized training on bias and hate-motivated crime to police services of jurisdiction across Canada and the RCMP.
This newly developed training supports a more standardized approach to the identification, response, and investigation of hate crimes through the promotion of trauma-informed practices and victim support, contributing to increased safety and security for all Canadians.
